Common Questions

What species are included in your database?

Our goal is to document all species in West Windsor. Currently, you can view all researched species on our Learn page. We're constantly adding more through community contributions and scientific research.

How can I contribute species observations?

Both members and volunteers can submit observations through our Join page. All submissions require review before being published to ensure accuracy. Certified members have additional privileges after approval - see our Join page for details.

What's the review process for submissions?

All observations (from both members and volunteers) are reviewed by our science team within 7-10 days. We verify species identification, location accuracy, and data quality. You'll receive notification when your submission is approved or if we need more information.

How often is new species data added?

We add new species weekly as they're researched and verified. Seasonal changes and environmental impact reports are updated quarterly. Subscribe to our newsletter for updates on new additions.

Can I access unpublished species data?

Currently researching species are only visible to our science team until fully verified. Once confirmed, they immediately appear on the Learn page. Certified members may request preview access for ongoing studies.

How accurate are the species locations?

We maintain precise location data for conservation purposes, but publicly display generalized areas to protect sensitive habitats. Researchers can request specific coordinates through our contact form.
